PlayShifu’s award-winning AR gaming system is now available in Denmark
Reinventing the way children play and learn in their early foundational years, PlayShifu has introduced Plugo for Denmark, an immersive, educational AR gaming system. Plugo consists of one gamepad, four interchangeable gaming kits, and one companion app. The game experience has been designed to focus on tactile play that drives the games on screen to make learning fun and engaging for children, whether it’s mathematics, vocabulary, critical thinking, or logical reasoning.
Specially designed for children in the age group of 4 to 10, each gaming kit has 5 games and over 300 levels and builds STEAM skills (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics). As opposed to most educational toys in the segment, Plugo adapts the challenges in the app for each kit according to the child’s age so that they keep learning as they grow.
Plugo Count, the hands-on maths kit, engages children in story-based word problems to practice maths skills with real numbers.
Plugo Letters, the word building kit, helps children learn new words and spell with phonics to improve English grammar with thrilling stories.
Plugo Link, the engineering puzzles kit, encourages kids to find creative solutions to STEM puzzles by building and balancing the magnetic blocks on the Gamepad.
Plugo Tunes, the music learning kit, is the fun and phygital way of learning to play piano through a unique waterfall technique.

Each Plugo kit retails for 449 DKK and the STEM bundle retails for 899 DKK. The kits can be purchased from Av-Cables ApS, Bog & Ide, Legeakademiet, Elgiganten, Fætter BR, Bilka and Power. The companion Plugo app supports multiple languages and will be available in Danish starting August 2021 (Plugo Letters will remain English-only). It is compatible with a wide range of iOS and Android tablets and smartphones (no in-app purchases, works even without the internet).
