The True Damage Yasuo Prestige Edition skin takes inspiration from the AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® X LEAGUE OF LEGENDS capsule collection
Riot Games and AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® announced today their collaboration on an apparel collection called AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® X LEAGUE OF LEGENDS collection, as well as an upcoming League of Legends Prestige Edition skin for True Damage Yasuo. The skin was revealed for the first time to players and fans today on the game’s Public Beta Environment.
AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® X LEAGUE OF LEGENDS is a unisex limited apparel collection, featuring an outerwear jacket, t-shirt, a pullover hoodie, a cargo pant, a pair of sneakers, and a hat, all available on AAPE.jp and in select stores globally. Additionally, an exclusive t-shirt of True Damage Yasuo Prestige Edition will be available globally on both the Riot Games’ merch website and as a part of the full collection. Details on the collection will be revealed on AAPE.jp on September 18, 2020.

The True Damage Yasuo Prestige Edition skin is League of Legends’ latest foray into partnered in-game skins, taking inspiration and designs from the AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® X LEAGUE OF LEGENDS collection. When collaborating with AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® on a prospective skin design for one of League of Legends’ champions, True Damage Yasuo was immediately brought up as a perfect candidate due to the aesthetic of his original True Damage skin. The skin was originally developed with modern-day streetwear and lifestyle design implications in mind, so to adapt the silhouette to feature AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® apparel felt authentic and resonant. Working with a streetwear brand like AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® for the skin was also in-line with the precedent set last year with in-game skins designed and made with the genuine fit of the veritable brand at the forefront of the collaboration.

True Damage Yasuo Prestige Edition will be available on September 25, 2020 to all players for the rest of 2020 for 100 in-game Prestige Points.
